Grow delicious homegrown figs with this live Olympian Fig tree (Ficus carica), a cold-hardy heirloom variety prized for its exceptionally large, sweet fruit and outstanding performance in cooler climates. Originally discovered in Olympia, Washington, this remarkable fig has been growing for over 100 years and was later confirmed through DNA testing as a distinct cultivar.

Olympian produces impressive purple-skinned figs with rich red to purple flesh that is exceptionally sweet and flavorful. This variety is especially valued for its early breba crop, which can ripen as early as May in favorable climates. Once established, the tree is highly resilient, tolerating winter temperatures down to approximately 0°F, even if top growth dies back before regrowing in spring.

Whether planted in the ground or grown in a large container, Olympian Fig is an excellent choice for home orchards, edible landscapes, patios, and backyard gardens. You will receive a healthy live plant similar in size and condition to those shown in the listing photos.

You will receive:
✔️ 1 live Olympian Fig tree
