Nun Orchid (Phaius tankervilleae) is a tropical terrestrial orchid known for its distinctive pink and brown flowers and lush, strap-like foliage. This unusual ornamental plant is often grown in shaded garden settings, tropical landscapes, and large containers where its exotic blooms provide seasonal interest.
Unlike many orchids that grow attached to trees, Nun Orchid is a terrestrial species that grows in soil. Its attractive foliage and striking flowers make it a popular choice for shade gardens and collectors seeking unique flowering plants.
