This evergreen flowering shrub produces striking tomato-red blooms that cover the plant in mid-spring, creating a beautiful display against its green foliage. It has an upright, spreading growth habit with multiple stems and makes an excellent choice for garden borders, low screens, shade gardens, and woodland landscapes. This relatively low-maintenance azalea grows best in shaded to partially sunny locations with suitable acidic soil.
