Choose a sunny location with well-draining soil, spread the roots naturally when planting, and water thoroughly. Maintain consistent moisture during the establishment period. Once the tree develops a strong root system, it becomes considerably more drought tolerant. For privacy screens or hedges, plan spacing carefully based on the desired density and mature size.
