Grow one of the world’s best-known wine grapes at home with this live Merlot grape vine. Botanically classified as Vitis vinifera ‘Merlot’, this classic red wine grape cultivar produces clusters of dark blue to purple-black grapes when mature and is widely grown for winemaking.
You will receive one established 1–2 year old vine that has been pruned and developed a healthy root system. Merlot vines are vigorous climbing plants that perform best when trained on a sturdy trellis, arbor, fence, or vineyard-style support system.
