About the Varieties

LSU Purple Fig
A named fig variety grown for its edible fruit. Fruit characteristics and productivity depend on plant maturity, climate, and growing conditions.

A named fig variety appreciated by fig growers for its edible fruit. Performance varies with climate, plant maturity, and care.

Growing & Propagation

Fig cuttings need suitable warmth, moisture, and a well-draining propagation medium to establish roots. Avoid keeping the medium waterlogged, and provide appropriate conditions for the propagation method you use.

These are cuttings for propagation, not established potted trees. Rooting time and success depend on cutting condition, season, temperature, and care. Rooting and future fruit production are not guaranteed.
