Illuminate your shade garden with the stunning beauty of Hosta ‘Cathedral Windows’, a spectacular large hosta known for its brilliant golden foliage and dramatic dark green margins. Developed by renowned breeder Hans Hansen, this tetraploid selection improves upon the award-winning ‘Stained Glass’ with thicker leaves, stronger growth, and exceptional garden performance.
Large, rounded gold leaves are framed by broad dark green edges, creating a striking stained-glass effect that brightens shaded landscapes. As the season progresses, the foliage develops an elegant domed appearance, adding texture and architectural interest to garden beds and borders.
In late summer, tall flower scapes rise above the foliage, displaying large, fragrant near-white blooms that attract pollinators and add another season of beauty to this outstanding variety.
Perfect for shade gardens, woodland plantings, hosta collections, foundation beds, and container displays, Cathedral Windows is a true showpiece perennial.
These healthy plants ship as bare-root starter plants and are ready to establish quickly in your garden.
