Back to buying optionsFairchild Kiwi Male Pollinator Live Plant – Rooted Starter | Actinidia Kiwi Vine | Zones 4–8 | Fruit Tree Pollinator | Fragrant Flowering Vine
Add a vigorous flowering vine and essential pollinator to your kiwi garden with this Fairchild Kiwi male pollinator plant. This live rooted starter comes from a flowering father plant and is grown naturally in cold Wisconsin without pesticides or chemical treatments.
This male kiwi vine is grown specifically for pollination and does not produce fruit on its own. Plant it near compatible female kiwi vines to provide pollen for fruit production. It can also pollinate self-fertile kiwi varieties and may help increase their fruit production.
Fairchild Kiwi develops long, vigorous vines that can reach approximately 12–20 feet and makes an attractive choice for trellises, arbors, fences, and privacy screens. Fragrant white flowers appear during the flowering season, adding ornamental appeal and attracting beneficial pollinators such as butterflies.
The plant is removed from its growing pot for shipping and carefully packed in a protective box. Because kiwi is deciduous, the plant may arrive dormant or actively growing depending on the season.
