Enhance your landscape with these live Dark Purple Crape Myrtle starter plants (Lagerstroemia spp.), prized for their vibrant clusters of deep purple blooms and attractive ornamental bark. These fast-growing flowering shrubs can be trained as elegant small trees or maintained as compact bushes through regular pruning, making them a versatile addition to gardens of all sizes.
During the blooming season, mature plants produce large flower clusters that attract pollinators while adding long-lasting color to landscapes, driveways, borders, and foundation plantings. Once established, Crape Myrtles are valued for their drought tolerance, low-maintenance care, and reliable summer flowering.
These healthy rooted starter plants ship bare root and are ready to establish in containers before transplanting into the landscape. Plants may arrive dormant without leaves during the winter months, which is a normal part of their seasonal growth cycle.
