Use low-mineral water and never plant these carnivorous plants in standard potting soil or fertilized mixes. Keep the Cape Sundew wetter and provide it with stronger light than the Butterwort. Avoid misting the Butterwort’s sticky leaves, and pot both plants into suitable containers soon after arrival. Seasonal changes in the Butterwort’s leaves are normal.
