Back to buying optionsButtonbush Live Plant – Cephalanthus occidentalis | 3–6 Inch Bare Root Starter Shrub | Native Flowering Plant | Butterfly & Pollinator Garden Shrub
Add native beauty and pollinator appeal to your landscape with this live Buttonbush plant, botanically known as Cephalanthus occidentalis. This fast-growing deciduous shrub is especially known for its unusual round, white flower clusters that resemble small buttons or pincushions and bloom during the summer.
The distinctive flowers attract butterflies, bees, and other pollinators, making Buttonbush an excellent addition to wildlife gardens, native landscapes, rain gardens, pond edges, and naturalized areas. As it matures, its dense growth can also make it useful for informal screening, barriers, and privacy plantings.
These young plants measure approximately 3–6 inches and are shipped bare root. Because Buttonbush is deciduous, plants may naturally arrive without leaves when dormant.
You will receive:
✔️ 1 live Buttonbush plant
✔️ Height: approximately 3–6 inches
✔️ Shipped bare root
✔️ Healthy young starter shrub
✔️ Native flowering pollinator plant
✔️ Secure packaging for safe arrival
