Back to buying optionsAdagio Maiden Grass – Miscanthus sinensis ‘Adagio’ Live Plant | 3+ Year Old Large Fully Rooted Clump | Semi Bare Root | Dwarf Ornamental Grass | Deer Resistant
Add graceful movement, texture, and year-round interest to your landscape with this mature 3+ year old Adagio Maiden Grass. This fully rooted, clump-forming ornamental grass features narrow silver-green foliage with an elegant fountain-like growth habit and beautiful golden seed heads later in the season.
Adagio is a compact form of maiden grass, reaching approximately 4–5 feet tall at maturity. It works beautifully as a landscape specimen, privacy accent, border plant, mass planting, or addition to larger containers. Once established, it is moderately drought tolerant, adaptable to many soil types, and relatively low maintenance.
Plants are freshly dug after purchase and shipped semi-bare root to help provide a fresh, viable root system. Because mature foliage can become very tall, plants may be trimmed before shipping to reduce stress and improve shipping survival. The plant you receive will vary in appearance and height depending on the season.
From November through March, plants may be shipped dormant with little or no foliage. Dormancy and the timing of new growth vary according to your local temperatures and daylight conditions. Listing photos showing mature plants are provided as a reference for established appearance.
