☀️ Growing & Care Tips
Bougainvillea performs best in full sun. Strong sunlight is particularly important for vigorous growth and abundant flowering. Plant in fast-draining soil and avoid keeping the roots continuously wet.
After planting, water enough to help the young plants establish. Once established, allow the soil to dry somewhat between waterings. Excessive watering and overly rich conditions can encourage leafy growth at the expense of flowers.
In colder climates, grow Bougainvillea in containers that can be moved to a protected, frost-free location during winter.
